The powder coating of the galvanized iron base is a procedure adopted to coat metal surfaces by depositing a protective layer of considerable mechanical resistance and high protection against atmospheric agents thanks to a greater thickness than traditional painting.
Industrial powder coating is an interesting and valid application both in terms of quality and performance characteristics, and in terms of costs, making it more convenient than liquid painting.
The powder coating is done by nebulizing the paint and polarizing the particles electrostatically. In this way the dust is magnetically attracted and is deposited on the surface of the piece of metal to be painted which is loaded with the opposite sign. Thereafter, the product is exposed to higher temperatures in order to achieve melting and cure of the paint.
